Course Summary

Our experienced Yoga tutor demonstrates and encourages students to practise basic postures for fitness, stress relief and clarity of mind. Students will gain the benefit of each session, as well as the ongoing benefit of continuing with these activities away from the classroom.

The course is suitable for beginners and more experienced yoga enthusiasts.

Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely. You will be required to remove your shoes so you may wish to wear socks or bring some with you.

Please speak to your tutor prior to the first session if you have any health concerns or if you are pregnant.

Please dress in loose, comfortable clothing.

Attendees for casual sessions should pay at CAE, Level 2, 253 Flinders Lane before the start of each session.


Elaine Haby has been teaching yoga at all levels for over 20 years. Elaine trained in Sivananda Yoga (Melbourne) and has also studied in India. She is a full-time yoga teacher who places emphasis on breathing and relaxation techniques that her students can learn and apply for themselves.

Blankets and mats are provided, however you may prefer to bring your own.
