Learn the gentle art of Tai Chi Yang with an option to continue through to advanced classes as you progress.

Following on from his beginner’s class, Leng Chaiwatanatorn adds new forms of the slow gentle movements of Tai Chi. Continue your journey towards harmony of mind and a supple body. Gain awareness of the motions of muscles and joints, breathing and movement of the diaphragm. Experience the restorative effects of careful exercise.

Leng Chaiwatanatorn

Leng Chaiwatanatorn will expertly demonstrate and explain the slow movements for students to follow and practise. The emphasis is on learning by doing. A few movements will be taught at each session, plus an explanation of Chinese Tai Chi philosophy.

Students interested in the Continuing courses must have previously studied Tai Chi.

Deepen existing skills and learn variations of forms and new techniques of movement.

Leng Chaiwatanatorn was born in Thailand from Chinese parents. When he was young, He learned the Yang Style of Tai Chi from a very famous Tai Chi master, Tung Ing Chiek. Master Tung was a senior disciple of Master Yang Chen Fu, who was the founder of the traditional Yang Style. Leng has been teaching Tai Chi at the CAE since 1979. 

Students interested in the Continuing course must have previously studied Tai Chi or completed Tai Chi Yang: Beginners

Please speak to your tutor prior to the first session if you have any health concerns or if you are pregnant.

Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely. You will be required to remove your shoes so you may wish to wear socks or bring some with you.
