Course Summary
Get ahead in your studies! This course supports learners to access pathways to accredited training, and ultimately lead to employment. Learners will experience a positive learning environment to improve their confidence in learning. Participation will also enhance learners’ employability skills through individual and group activities and there is a strong focus on oral and written communication skills.
Includes:
- an introduction to the health sector, employment opportunities and responsibilities
- hygiene and infection control in a health services setting
- customer service and communication skills in health services
- conduct, duty of care and confidentiality requirements in healthcare
- workplace health and safety
- medical terminology
