Course Summary

Transform your backyard into an extension of your kitchen. Learn how to design, plan, build and operate a classic wood-fired oven using specific types of bricks. Our expert tutor provides invaluable advice, plans and expertise, and he even cooks a traditional roast on the day.

Our tutor’s large garden in Hampton has been featured in a number of prestigious Australian Open Garden Scheme activities attracting thousands of visitors. Drawing on his Mediterranean heritage, he has embraced the concept of the home wood-fired oven as is a pioneer in its use, often consulted by media for expert advice. He has presented the wood-fired oven course at CAE for many years.
