Whether working with clay is new to you or you have previous experience, this course encourages you to get your hands dirty and experiment with a variety of hand building techniques. Explore a range of glazing options to produce something exceptional. The class will run over 5 weeks and includes demonstrations of pinch pot, slab, and coil construction. Participants will be encouraged to experiment and create individual ceramic pieces in their own style. Earthenware clay in both terracotta and white, a wide choice of colours for glazing, and firing is included. 

Tessa Joy is a visual artist working across a variety of mediums. She currently works for Box Hill Institute, Heide Museum of Modern Art and Box Hill Art Group.
