Get moving! Bicycle maintenance and more.
Do you love bikes and would like to know more about them to access this booming industry? This course is aimed at anyone interested in not only the maintenance and repair of their own bike but also those wishing to gain a better understanding of bikes and their mechanics. This could lead into working or volunteering in the industry, further study or set the wheels in motion for starting up your own bike repair business. For ages 17 and over
(participants must have exited from school).
Includes:
• Recognising main bike parts and how they integrate with each other
• Tool selection and use
• Diagnosing and solving mechanical problems
• Dealing with common damage
• Tyres, tubes and chains
• Handlebars, stems, saddles and seatposts
• On-ride repair
Runs:
Term 3: Thursdays, 24 August to 12 October
Term 4: 19 October to 7 December

Lilydale Campus: 1 Jarlo Drive, Lilydale 5.00pm – 9.00pm OR
ECOSS Wesburn: 711 Old Warburton Road, Wesburn 10.00am – 2.30pm
