NEW PATHWAYS
New Pathways is a re-engagement and vocational pathways planning program that aims to develop the confidence and skills of people who have experienced or are experiencing barriers to their learning or employment opoportunities. The course is designed to offer cultural safety and a positive and nurturing environment to all of the participants. It aims to develop literacy, numeracy, digital, social and community skills.
- Interview techniques
- Identifying barriers to achievement
- Identification of short, mid and long term goals
- formal and informal communication techniques
- participation in planning and organising a samll community event
Runs: Term 2, 24 April to 23rd June (Actual dates & times to be confirmed)
