Course Summary
This course is a continuation of Arabic Elementary 1 and builds upon the foundational skills introduced in the first course. It continues to use the book “Mastering Arabic 1 ” and aims to further develop students’ abilities in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Modern Standard Arabic. Throughout the course, students will expand their vocabulary, improve grammar understanding, and gain greater confidence in using Arabic in everyday contexts. By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate more fluently and accurately in a variety of familiar situations.
Course Objectives and Structure

The course continues to focus on the four key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

It follows a progressive approach, building on the Arabic script and language skills introduced in Elementary 1.

Covers more advanced pronunciation, grammar, sentence structures, and vocabulary related to daily life and cultural topics.

Topics include extended conversations about family, work, hobbies, travel, social interactions, and more.

Provides deeper insights into Arabic-speaking cultures and how language reflects social customs.

Read and write longer dialogues, paragraphs, and notes.
