The interest in the original Melbourne Lanes & Arcades tour has proved so popular that our tour guide, Isabel Simpson, has created a new city-based walk for walking devotees, focusing on, an as yet, unexplored section of the city. Commencing in Flinders Lane, we zigzag across the top of the city, including sites such as Oliver’s Lane, Alfred Place, including lost sites such as a 19thC garden. Where was Lang Lane and what is it now? This is a fascinating look into the social development in this corner of the city.

Students will explore a section of Melbourne with an experienced tour guide who will focus on historical sites, including sites still present or replaced by later development. Hear about the sites, the characters and the stories from the past.
