Course Summary

Designed and delivered to develop students’ pre-existing knowledge and on-going experience of oil painting, this course will further your knowledge of colour theory and mixing, composition and observation, by means of contemporary still-life and portrait painting.  Building and expanding on lessons from the Oil Painting: Beginners course (or your own experience) students will create new paintings from traditional methods and bring them into the contemporary sphere.
