Course Summary

This course is designed for people who want to develop further their knowledge of Korean language, cultural insight and communication skills in everyday real life situations. The content is presented in a supportive environment and opportunities are constantly provided for students to communicate in Korean.

The following topic will be covered:

  • Giving advice to friends
  • Making excuses
  • Asking for help and advice
  • Recommending touristic places
  • Share experience of one’s holidays/trips 
  • Asking for information
  • Expressing worries/concerns
  • Sharing personal information and life in Korea
  • Encouraging friends

By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Give advice to friends;
  • Recommend good places to visit and foods to others;
  • Express emotions;
  • Obtain useful information;
  • Have an interview;
  • Express opinions and views;
  • Express resolutions;
  • Greet people of all ages appropriately.

Korean Intermediate 3 or the equivalent of about 190 hours of previous study.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AT CAE, YOU NEED TO CONTACT CAE FOR A SKILL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO ENROLLING.
