French Continuing: Proficient is a 27 hour course designed for more advanced French students who wish to expand on the speaking, reading and writing skills already established through their French studies so far.

Elementary:  Levels 1 to 6

Understands and communicates simple personal and work-related messages.

Intermediate: 1 – 4

Understands and communicates any important information both in writing and orally.

Advanced: 1 – 4

–  Can understand, communicate and put into practice standard information both in everyday life and work related situations.

–  Puts complex information into practice, both in everyday life and in work situations, presentations and meetings.

Proficient: 1 – 4

Expert: 1 – 6

Students need to have completed French: Advanced 4 and this course is open to students from both French: Proficient 1 and French Proficient 2.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AT CAE, YOU NEED TO CONTACT CAE FOR A SKILL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO ENROLLING.

N.B. CAE withdrawal policy does not allow for refund or transfer once the course has started in the event that the level of the class is not suitable.

Students will be instructed to purchase the Bien Dire magazine, however details as to which editions to purchase will be given during classes.
