Course Summary

Note: This course is delivered simultaneously online and onsite at CAE.

French Continuing: Proficient is a 27 hour course designed for more advanced French students who wish to expand on the speaking, reading, and writing skills already established through their French studies so far.

You will learn how to:

  • Develop your French vocabulary and overall skills by addressing French current affairs topics.
  • Discuss current events and analyse extracts from the Bien Dire magazine as you build on your existing French skills through highly-engaging class activities.
  • Develop your speaking and listening skills through fun and informative group conversations in French.

Material required

Students will be instructed to purchase the Bien Dire magazine. Details regarding which edition to purchase will be provided in class once the course begins.

Prerequisites

Students need to have completed French: Advanced 4. This course is open to students from both French: Proficient 1 and French Proficient 2.
