Advanced 1–4
  • Understand and communicate familiar matters encountered in work, school and leisure.
  • Describe experiences and events, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
Proficient 1–4
  • Understand and communicate complex information in everyday life and work situations.
  • Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
Expert 1–6
  • Understand the main ideas of complex text in both concrete and abstract topics.
  • Can express ideas fluently and recognise implicit meaning.
