Occupational English Test (OET) Preparation is provided to eligible individuals with funds made available by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments.

This intensive exam preparation course will assist you to develop English proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing in relation to the Occupational English Test (OET).


Course content

Writing Analysis of the writing task; planning your letter; timed writing practice; model letters; written feedback related to the OET criteria; individual conferencing with your teacher; advanced grammar, sentence structure and spelling.
Listening Listening strategies; note-taking skills; exam practice and monitoring of exam technique; spelling.
Speaking Analysis of role play requirements; regular recorded role play practice; individual feedback from your teacher; advanced grammar and vocabulary for speaking; pronunciation and access to listening and speaking tasks on our own website.
Reading Reading strategies for Part A and Part B; exam practice and feedback; vocabulary building; and reading skills exercises.
