The course content will provide you with plenty of opportunities to constantly develop your Spanish skills.

 

The learning resource to be used at this level is divided in several sections to ensure that you have an introduction to the subject area to be discussed, an area to enforce reading and comprehension, a section to practice and communicate a grammar section and the last section to introduce you to cultural insight of the language.

At this level, topics will include to:

  • talk about habits and feelings
  • write a biography
  • design a house and place to live

Get ready as by the end of this course you will be able to:

  • talk about professions
  • engage in conversations and exchange information about how you feel, about things you do and you have achieved, how did you started them, your motivations behind them, how long did it take you to achieve them and the difficulties you have overcome to succeed
  • provide recommendations and advice regarding to present and past actions, plans and intentions
  • discuss parts of a house, shapes, styles and materials
  • describe objects and compare them
  • listen and discuss about activities to learn languages
  • talk about lives of Hispanic celebrities: former and current famous names in many areas from history, movies, etc.

Also you will be able to:

  • Review of present tense for regular, irregular and reflexive verbs
  • Review the use of ser /estar
  • Use ir and irse
  • Use sentences to introduce the past
  • Express timeframes – durante, hasta, desde, desde hace…
  • Comparing things
  • Know how to use more prepositions

Expressing preferences – gustar, encantar …

Elementary 3 or the equivalent to approximately 50 hours of previous study.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AT CAE, YOU NEED TO CONTACT CAE FOR A SKILL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO ENROLLING.
