Classes are a fun, open and welcoming environment where students are encouraged to discuss and debate – in Spanish – literature, culture and general social issues. Students read and analyse literature and cultural situations from Spanish-speaking countries, particularly from Spain itself and Latin-America.
The specific course content in CAE’s Spanish Expert program will be agreed upon by students, ensuring there is a genuine interest in all areas and activities that will be developed. Discussion topics include:
· Literature – Spanish and Latina American stories
· Environmental issues
· New technologies; scientific and discoveries
· Politics, political figures and parties
· Art, museums, expos
· Films, theatre
· Social issues, like problems related to drugs, alcohol, gambling etc.
A student’s grammar skills will also be revised and developed and written work is encouraged. The course creates a great opportunity to share opinions, goals and interests with others in a fun and informative class classroom.
