The content consists the coverage of basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. This course covers the following topics:

  • Greetings and Introductions
  • Myanmar scripts and numbers
  • Talking about interests, hobbies, and family
  • Myanmar culture, currency and daily life style
  • Grammatical features in Myanmar language
  • Useful vocabularies for different situations

By the end of this course students  should be able to:

  • Greet each other in different situations
  • Introduce themselves including their names and short personal information
  • Ask questions at a shop or airport
  • Understand the value of Myanmar currency
  • Read and write Myanmar script and numbers
  • Read and write short simple dialogues
  • Understand the basic Myanmar grammar
