Course Summary

Drones are the new go-to hobby toy for the outdoors and this introductory course will assist you with your purchasing and flying needs. Experienced operator Terry Murphy discusses everything from types of drones, batteries, GPS, attachments and accessories including camera, video quality, phone or monitor view and flying. Terry will also touch on the legal and safety issues, focusing on what and how you need to investigate further. Note: This is a demonstration course with Terry flying his drone on the day.

Enthusiast Terry Murphy is a keen drone pilot and will provide helpful information, from buying and necessary equipment to flying and personalised accessories to meet specific needs. Terry is an experienced artist and photographer and can provide students with a valuable insight into camera and video gear and usage. Terry will provide the drone on the day. The course is held at Alphington (Terry’s studio and nearby parkland) – details will be provided on enrolment.
